How Ticket Coin Workshop Works

Ticket Coin Workshop is a browser-based demo that uses virtual coins to simulate a specific mathematical outcome. This guide explains the exact mechanics, scoring logic, and wallet behavior based on the demo rules. No external operator, license, or real-money platform is implied by this page.

Core Gameplay and Scoring

The game revolves around generating a target sum and matching it to a coin count. The process follows these strict steps:

  1. Ticket Generation: Two independent random numbers, each between 00 and 99, are generated. This produces four digits in total.
  2. Sum Calculation: These four digits are added together to form a target sum.
  3. Coin Matching: The demo computes the minimum number of coins (with denominations 1, 3 or 4) that form the digit sum; the player selects a result class before the draw.

Ticket Bands: The resulting sum determines the ticket band, which categorizes the difficulty and probability:

  • 0–3 coins
  • 4–6 coins
  • 7–9 coins

The payout for any selectable ticket is calculated as 0.96 divided by its exact probability. This structure ensures a 96% expected gross return across all modes.

The selectable labels are class 0 (0–3 coins), class 1 (4–6 coins), and class 2 (7–9 coins). The demo computes the class automatically; the player predicts a class before the draw. The default selection is class 0 with a stake of 20.

Stake and Controls

Control over the game state is limited during active rounds to ensure mathematical integrity.

  • Stake Options: You capture one whole stake per draw: 10, 20, 50, or 100 coins.
  • Locked Controls: During the drawing phase, Settings, Refill, and Mode selections are locked. Sound controls remain available.
  • No Auto/Stop: There is no automatic queue or early cash-out. Each round is a complete, independent draw.
  • Unfinished Rounds: If you reload the page during an active round, the round ends immediately without refund or resume capability.

Payout and Settlement

Understanding the difference between gross return and net profit is essential.

  • Gross Payout: The displayed multipliers represent the gross coin return (including the original stake), not pure profit.
  • Mathematical Expectation: The expected gross return is 96%. This is an average over infinite trials, not a guarantee for any single session.
  • Fractional Carry: Any fractional value from a previous settlement persists through settlement, manual refill, and page reloads.
  • Settled Balance: The local balance, even if zero, persists in the demo until manually restored or refilled.

For a matching class, multiply the captured stake by its gross multiplier, add stored carry, credit the floor, and store the remainder. A nonmatching draw has zero gross return and preserves the previous carry. Class probabilities are 17.6%, 68.95%, and 13.45%; multipliers are 0.96 divided by these probabilities.

Wallet and Restoration

The demo wallet operates independently of any external account system.

  • Initial Balance: The demo starts with 1000 virtual coins.
  • Manual Restoration: If the balance drops below 10 coins while idle, you can manually restore the balance. This action sets the balance exactly to 1000 coins. It does not add 1000 to the current balance; it resets it.
  • Refill Limits: Refill controls are locked while drawing is active.
  • No External Cash Value: These virtual coins have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

Mathematical Evidence and Modes

The following data reflects the mathematical evidence for the three available modes. Expected values are distinct from measured simulation estimates.

ModeExpected RTP (%)Measured RTP (%)
095.999999999998695.93890499999999
196.000000000010295.958785
296.0000000000034796.19985

Each mode was simulated over 1,000,000 rounds. The slight variance between expected and measured percentages is due to statistical sampling in the simulation, not a deviation in the actual game math.

Privacy and Technical Storage

This demo uses local browser storage for persistence, but this does not imply full anonymity or exclude other data processing.

  • Local Storage: The game source uses localStorage to save the settled balance and fractional carry. This data remains on your device until cleared or overwritten.
  • Third-Party Requests: The published template requests Google Fonts and Statinside44 counter resources. This is not an exhaustive account of third-party processing.
  • No Account/Login: There is no account login flow or payment processing in this demo. Local wallet storage does not rule out other data processing.

Frequently asked questions

How is the payout calculated for a ticket?

Every selectable ticket pays a gross amount equal to 0.96 divided by its exact probability. This ensures a 96% expected gross return. The payout includes your original stake.

What happens if I run out of coins?

If your balance falls below 10 coins while idle, you can manually restore your wallet. This action sets your balance exactly to 1000 coins, preserving any fractional carry from previous settlements.

Does the demo save my progress if I close the browser?

The balance and fractional carry are stored in your browser's local storage. However, if you reload the page during an active draw, the round ends without refund or resume. The captured stake remains deducted and the current draw does not resume.
